LAT's ART SHOP

Hi! I'm Marija, a digital artist and illustrator based in Vilnius, Lithuania.Commissions are always open!Contact: lat#7807 or [email protected]

Terms of Service

SECTION I. IMAGE COPYRIGHT1. I, the Artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork.
2. With the exception of seamless pattern design commissions, which may be used for merchandise and promotional purposes, all commissioned artwork is for non-commercial use only.
3. The Client may repost the artwork in personal or public social media pages as long as proper credit is given (a link back to my ArtStation, Twitter or Instagram page) and my signature, if applied, remains intact and unaltered.
4. Please do not alter, trace, copy, or claim the work as your own. If these terms are broken, you will be blacklisted from commissioning me.
SECTION II. PAYMENT INFORMATION1. I accept payment in EUR and USD. All payments will be made through PayPal invoices. Please do not send the agreed amount without notifying me beforehand. It is the Client’s responsibility to tell me when the payment has been sent; in case there is an error and the payment does not get through, I will be able to react in time.
2. Prices should be interpreted as estimates, with additional fees applied based on commission complexity and required detail.
3. There are no refunds available. Please only commission me if you are certain that my art style suits your needs.
SECTION III. CONTACT AND COMMUNICATION1. I reserve the right to refuse a commission I am not comfortable with or to cancel it at any time without further explanation. Therefore, please ensure your request does not fall within any of the no-no categories listed in Section IV.
2. Commissions can be conducted via private messages on Twitter, Instagram, or via Discord, lat#7807. For faster communication, Discord is preferable.
3. The Client must provide a valid PayPal email address for the invoice.
4. Visual Reference Guidelines.
----a. The Client is expected to provide at least one clear and concise visual reference; please supplement it with any important information I may need to know in order to draw the character correctly. This includes close-up shots of important details in attire, facial structure, environment or lightning prompts and more.
----b. Image file (.png, .jpg, .psd etc) references are a must. Please understand that I will not open compressed folders, files in ambiguous formats or links without image previews for safety concerns.
----c. If possible, please keep text references to a minimum. As much as I appreciate Clients sharing their passion for storytelling, very little of it applies to my work - besides visual references, a few keywords are usually enough to get the idea across. Instead of describing the background of a character or location extensively, please only provide a handful of useful cues: familial ties, character or behavioral traits, environment etc.
----d. I cannot guarantee that your design will be executed perfectly. Among other reasons, design interpretations may be inconsistent between images and lessen my ability to accurately draw your character.
SECTION IV. WILL/WON'T DRAW1. When ordering, please keep my art style in mind. There are some areas in which I have little or no experience, and as such, I may not be able to provide you quality artwork. Things outside my comfort zone might not be as high of quality as something I am used to doing. In this case, I will usually decline so as not to deliver a subpar product, but if you do have another art style you'd like me to try and emulate, feel free to discuss!
2. Allowed Content/Will Do:
----- humanoid characters;
----- simple environments;
----- original characters and character design;
----- complicated designs and clothing;
----- seamless pattern designs (ask)
----- concept art (ask);
----- monsters, animals, familiars, pets,
----- Pokémon, anthropomorphic characters - depending on reference (ask).
3. Prohibited Content/Won't Do: If your commission falls within any of these categories, I will have to decline your order.
----- underage characters in any sexual or suggestive context;
----- explicitly nude or violent characters, suggestive attire (lingerie, bondage or outfits that may be interpreted as such; no NSFW);
----- furries;
----- mecha (lack of practice but down to try; ask);
----- real people;
----- any hateful content, such as racism or homophobia, political or religious messaging.
SECTION V. WORKFLOW1. Artistic liberty: I work best when given artistic freedom. The Client’s suggested scene or pose takes precedence, but please allow and expect some variation. Changes may be made regardless of reference in an attempt to correct anatomy or enhance other important details. This is also important for staying consistent with one style.
2. Process: I enable timelapse for all my projects. Once the commission is complete, Clients may ask to see the process of their commission from start to finish. Commissions may be streamed, so if you are getting a gift for someone and do not want your drawing broadcasted live or shared on social media before a certain date, please specify.
3. Time: Orders are estimated to take no longer than 2 weeks a piece. If there are any delays in completion, the Client will be notified privately.
4. Works in Progress (WIPs), Revisions and Edits: Certain commission types (Simple Sketch) may or may not include a sketch review for approval stage. If the commission type includes a sketch approval stage (Line/Painterly Render), any major changes or revisions must be made at this point; this includes any significant alterations to a character’s pose or body shape, redrawing parts of the image or requesting additional details. Progress will be paused until the sketch is confirmed. After the sketch has been approved, no major edits or changes will be allowed. When the final image reaches the Client, they may still ask for minor adjustments such as color or contrast correction, but no further edits will be made.
4. If I make any errors in the character design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified at the time of placing the order, I will make these edits at no additional cost. However, requesting complex details such as weapons or additional characters will cost extra.
SECTION VI. CLOSING NOTES1. This TOS is subject to change without notice. Changes will not be applied retroactively.
2. The item received is a digital art piece, a .png file sent via private message, so no physical package is sent (digital service).
3. The Client receives a digital copy of the complete artwork that is custom-made to their order. The progress steps - either sketches and/or lineart - are sent for approval prior to receiving the invoice.
4. When the Client pays the invoice, they acknowledge that they understand and agree with these statements.
Thank you for your interest in my artwork. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact me!Version 1.1

Commission form:

- PayPal email, contact and alias:
- Commission type: sketch | line-art | painterly
- Size: bust | half-body | full-body | concept sheet (specify callouts)
- Character count:
- References: at least front view, but preferably multiple angles. Close-ups of any less visible details or names of set items (from video games) that I could Google for a broader view would help immensely. If you'd like me to design a character from scratch, please supplement your visual references with a detailed description of the character's physique and attire.
- Details (optional): facial expression(s), pose ideas or iterations, accessories to pay attention to, pets and familiars, etc.
- Background1: none | transparent | simple | detailed (specify)
- Secrecy2: none | temporary (gift)

Noteall: Filling out the form is not necessary, but it helps both the client and myself to keep things organized. You may send a few references and a short description of what you want in free-form instead if it's more convenient for you.Note1: If you are ordering a commission for multiple characters and want a transparent background version for each of them, please notify me before you confirm your order, or I won't be able to provide you.Note2: I may stream my commission process from time to time, so please be open if you are getting a gift for someone and don't want your drawing shared on social media before a certain date. Additionally, I will not accept orders that ask me to not share the piece on any platform as it limits my ability to advertise and grow my brand.

Notecomplexity: Complexity modifier refers to the overall difficulty of a character's design. Generally, the biggest contributors to this are armor, pleats, lace, plentiful jewelry, details with engraving, etching and others. Don't be discouraged, however; having just one or two of these components will not immediately set you in the most complex category.Noteextras: Here, extra details suggest at more "detached" parts of a design or composition. Think pets, familiars, wings, halos, weapons, tools, food, furniture (if it's a standalone object on a solid or transparent background).Noteconcepts: Elements and their level of finish in a concept sheet may vary greatly. Sometimes it makes sense to have just one rendered view and several simpler callouts. Therefore, feel free to mix and match size and finish options to what best suits your needs.
